BSC Eagles finish league play undefeated

What a year it has been for the BSC Eagles. The Eagles are a U-14 girls select soccer team consisting of players from Brown, Highland, Clermont and Hamilton counties. The team just completed their final season of play for the Beechmont Soccer Club.
A year that saw conditioning and practices begin in July, was just the beginning of what would be a fun filled and very successful year. The fall season opened with the girls coming home as champions in the Dog Days Tournament.
They followed that title up with another finals appearance later in the season and a third place finish in league play. The spring season also included very successful run, as the Eagles were tournament finalists twice and went undefeated in league play, finishing second, and going 3-0-3 in the top division of the Cincinnati United Soccer League.
Scoring goals against the lady Eagles was a challenge. The girls posted three shutouts and allowed just three goals during the spring season, tying them for best in the division in goals allowed. No team scored more than a single goal in any game.
Tournament play was no different, as only two opponents would register more than two goals in any one match over the past year.
In eight tournament appearances over the past year, against some stiff competition from throughout the region, the girls came home as champions once, runners-up three times, third once and fourth once. Only twice did they fail to place in the top four.
The team started five years ago as an u10 team in division nine and made it all the way to the top division of the league.
After completing their freshman season with their respective high school teams in the fall, the team will move over to Passion FC and begin play in the Buckeye Premier League for spring 2016.
Uniforms colors may change and opponents may vary, but the friendships and memories of your accomplishments will last a lifetime. Well done, ladies.
