Brady Roberts ties for third as state golf medalist

Brady Roberts, a sophomore at Cincinnati Christian High School, finished the two-day state high school golf tournament at NorthStar golf links in Sunbury, with a two-day total score of 158.

Roberts shot 79 each day and tied for third place as a individual medalist with 12 golfers participating. He also finished tied for 11th place overall with 72 golfers participating.

Roberts qualified for the state tournament with a score of 78 at Walden Pond Club in Hamilton in the sectionals and a score of 76 at the district tournament at Weatherwax Golf Club in Middletown.

Brady is the son of Mark and Nancy Roberts, formerly of Hillsboro, and the grandson of Phil and Carol Roberts of Hillsboro.
