Bengals make 3 roster moves

By
Cincinnati Bengals, Press Release

The Cincinnati Bengals Wednesday made the following roster moves:

• Signed K Cade York to the practice squad. York (6-1, 198), a second-year player out of Louisiana State University, originally was a fourth-round draft pick of Cleveland in 2022. He played in all 17 games as a rookie for the Browns and converted 24-of-32 FG attempts along with 35 of 37 PATs, then spent the 2023 season on Cleveland’s practice squad. He was acquired by Washington via trade during this past training camp, and played in one regular-season game for the Commanders before being waived on Sept. 9.

• Placed K Evan McPherson on the Reserve/Injured list. McPherson, a fourth-year player, suffered a right groin injury in the team’s Week 13 game against Pittsburgh.

• Signed OT Andrew Stueber off the practice squad to the active roster. Stueber, a first-year player, spent seven weeks on Cincinnati’s active roster earlier this season and played in four games. He was waived by the Bengals on Nov. 28 and signed the next day to the practice squad, where he spent the team’s Week 13 game against Pittsburgh.
