Bengals extend Orlando Brown's contract; sign Mafe, Cook

The Bengals today signed OT Orlando Brown Jr. to a two-year contract extension through the 2028 season.

Brown, who will be a ninth-year player in 2026, joined the Bengals as an unrestricted free agent in the ’23 offseason. He has started at LOT in all 45 games he has played in for Cincinnati. 

Bengals sign Boye Mafe, Bryan Cook

• The Bengals today signed unrestricted free agent DE Boye Mafe to a three-year contract through the 2028 season.

Mafe (6-4, 265), a fifth-year player out of the University of Minnesota, originally was a second-round draft pick of Seattle in 2022. He has played in 65 career regular-season games with 34 starts for the Seahawks, recording 161 tackles, 24 TFLs, 20 sacks, 14 PDs, three FFs and two FRs. He also saw action in four postseason games for Seattle and tallied seven tackles. 

• The Bengals today signed unrestricted free agent S Bryan Cook to a three-year contract through the 2028 season.

Cook (6-1, 210), a fifth-year player out of the University of Cincinnati, originally was a second-round draft pick of Kansas City in 2022. He has played in 62 career regular-season games with 47 starts for the Chiefs, totaling 228 tackles, four TFLs, one sack, 15 PDs, three INTs and two FRs. He also played in six postseason contests with three starts for Kansas City and recorded 17 tackles, two PDs and one INT.

A native of Cincinnati, Cook attended Mount Healthy High School. He began his collegiate career at Howard University before transferring to Cincinnati, where he played from 2019-21.
