The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) announced their Men's Soccer Player of the Week Monday afternoon, and freshman forward Parker Burke earned the honor just five games into his Quakers career.

Burke (Xenia, Ohio/Legacy Christian Academy) has provided a jolt to the Quakers offense this season, scoring four goals and dishing out three assists for 11 points. He is at the top of the OAC in points, is tied for the OAC lead in goals scored, and is tied for second in assists.

Burke scored two goals last Tuesday at home against Anderson University (Ind.), and followed that up with a one-goal, two-assist performance against Spalding University on Friday night. He didn't score Sunday afternoon against Centre College but did have two shots in the contest.

Wilmington is back in Williams Stadium for their next game on Thursday, where they host the Transylvania University Pioneers at 7 p.m.
