10-run inning leads to Lady Mustangs victory

In the past two games, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs have done nothing but score runs … lots of them.
In their past two games, LC has totaled 46 runs, leading to two victories in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference, as on Wednesday they won by a 15-0 score against the Peebles Lady Indians at PHS.
On Tuesday, LC scored 31 runs, and added with the 15 runs on Wednesday, that gives them the aforementioned 46 runs in two games.
Getting those 15 runs on Wednesday saw LC score two runs in the first, one in the second, two more in the third and capping off the game with 10 runs in the fourth.
At the plate, Chelsi Hacker went 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs and a home run.

"Again everyone was hitting, and this one goes to Hacker," LC head coach Spring Roberts said. "Eventually, I knew she was going to send one out. She has been working hard on her footwork, hips and hands.
"Our defense was outstanding with only one error. They (PHS) were in scoring position three times, and we held them scoreless."
Hannah Binkley was the winning pitcher, pitching four innings. She allowed no runs on three hits and no walks. Binkley stuck out one and hit a batter.
Madysyn Creighton, Hayley McConnaughey, Nikki Jones and Lexi Waits each had two hits.
Brittany Allen, Binkley and Megan Pointer each had one hit. Shelbi Chisman, Creighton, Jones and McConnaughey each had an RBI.
LC also forced five walks.
