Lady ’Cats lose 2 against Clermont Northeastern

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats lost two consecutive games Saturday in a doubleheader, falling to the Clermont Northeastern Lady Rockets, 10-0 and 14-2.

In game one, CNE dominated with a one-run first, followed by seven runs in the bottom of thee fourth and two runs in the fifth inning. CNE totaled 10 hits, while WHS had six hits in the non-conference loss.

Jaylie Parr went 1-for-2 with a double and steal. Molly McMullen, Bri Hill, Mattie Conrad, Madison Davidson and Evelyn Lucas each finished 1-for-2 at the plate.

The second game saw WHS fall 14-2.

WHS had three players finish 1-for-2 at the plate, as Elena Limon was 1-for-2 with a run, and Molly McMullen was 1-for-2 with a run, one RBI, a triple and a steal. Madison Davidson was also 1-for-2.

WHS is now 5-9 on the season.
