Lady ’Cats drop SHAC game at Fayetteville

Whiteoak Lady Wildcats softball suffered a Southern Hills Athletic Conference loss Tuesday evening, falling to the Fayetteville Lady Rockets, 7-1, and seeing their record fall to 5-10 overall this season.

WHS trailed 4-0 after the first inning, and after the Lady ’Cats scored a run in the top of the third, Fayetteville scored their final three runs in the bottom of the fifth for the six-run win.

Fayetteville finished with seven hits, while WHS totaled four hits.

Lilly Leston led WHS at 2-for-2 with one run, while Madison Davidson went 1-for-3 with a double, and Elena Limon was 1-for-2 in the SHAC game.

Addy Roberts drew a walk in the loss.

Hill pitched six innings where she allowed seven earned runs off seven hits and two walks. She also had eight strikeouts for Whiteoak.
