The United Soccer Coaches announced Wednesday that 2024 Lynchburg-Clay graduate Jade Massey has been selected as a 2024 High School Scholar All-American.

Massey was one of 88 soccer players, including 45 girls athletes, selected for “their cumulative achievement in the classroom as well as on the soccer field during their secondary school careers,” according to United Soccer Coaches.

Massey finished her career at LCHS with a 3.8 GPA. She is the daughter of Jaime and Brittany Massey.

On the field, Massey scored 82 goals in her career, including 41 goals her senior year. She also added nine assists last fall, a season in which the LC Lady Mustangs reached the regional finals.

Massey was named the Southern Hills Athletic Conference Girls Soccer Player of the Year and the Southeast District Girls Soccer Player of the Year, plus was named first-team All-Ohio, for her play during the fall 2023 season.
