Mustangs, Lady Mustangs both lose against Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy

Saturday (Aug. 24) the Lynchburg-Clay boys and girls soccer teams lost non-conference games to host Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.

In the boys game, the Mustangs lost by a 5-1 score.

Senior Braedon West scored the lone goal for Lynchburg-Clay, as the goal was unassisted.

At keeper for LCHS was senior Isaac Eyre, who finished with seven saves.

With the loss, the Mustangs now stand at 3-1 overall, as they are 2-0 in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.

LCHS will next play again Monday, Aug. 26 on the road at Ripley in a SHAC contest.

Also on Saturday, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs fell by a 6-1 score against CHCA.

The lone goal scored by the Lady Mustangs was by sophomore Savannah Bell, as it was an unassisted goal.

LCHS junior Caitlyn Collins finished with three saves, and senior Allie Waits totaled six saves.

The Lady Mustangs with the loss are now 1-2 overall.

Next for the LCHS Lady Mustangs is a road SHAC game on Monday, Aug. 26 at Ripley.
