Mustangs earn Top 10 finish at Portsmouth Invitational
Continuing their 2024 boys golf season, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs went on the road to play at the Portsmouth Elks Invitational on Thursday (Aug. 9).
The Mustangs finished with a quality team score of 351, for a 10th-place finish out of 22 teams.
LCHS was led by Nolan Wilkin with a score of 83 (38, 45), followed by Saxen Wilkin with a score of 85 (42, 43).
Next was Jackson West with an 89 (45, 44) score, and Braedon West rounded out the team with a score of 94 (46, 48).
