Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs golf wins matches on consecutive days

Wednesday (Aug. 22) and Thursday (Aug. 21), the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs gained victories on consecutive days.
In their tri-match on Wednesday, the Mustangs defeated Fairfield and East Clinton.
LCHS won with a score of 165, followed by Fairfield (171) and East Clinton (207).
Nolan Wilkin was the match medalist with a score of 39. Next for the Mustangs was Saxen Wilkin scoring a 41, and teammate Aiden Bene also scored a 41.
Christian Flowers finished with a score of 44, while Jackson West finished with a 47 score. Carson Prister ended the day with a 48 score, and Kristian Beachy carded a 51.
The following day, the Mustangs won a tri-match against SHAC teams Fairfield and Peebles at Adams County Country Club.
Lynchburg-Clay scored a 142 for the win, followed by Peebles at 170, and Fairfield was third with a 179 score.
Saxen Wilkin was the medalist of the match with a 34 score, followed by Nolan Wilkin with a 36 score.
Aiden Bene also finished with a 36 score for the Mustangs.
Scoring a 38 was Kristian Beachy, and the remaining scores were Cole Wells (45), Carson Pfister (48) and Austin Bell (49).
