DODSONVILLE — Playing two games in two days, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs softball team earned a win at home Friday (April 11) against Fayetteville, then lost Saturday (April 12) in a non-conference game against Westfall.

In the game on Friday evening at LCHS, the Lady Mustangs battled with the Fayetteville Lady Rockets to earn the Southern Hills Athletic Conference win by a 2-1 score in nine innings.

Lynchburg-Clay struck first with a 1-0 lead after the first inning as Aubrey Roberts scored the run on a passed ball with two outs.

Fayetteville answered by tying the game at 1-1 with a run crossing home plate in the top of the second.
