Spruell finalist for MaxPreps Athlete of the Week Award

Hillsboro junior Camryn Spruell is a statewide finalist for MaxPreps Ohio High School Athlete of the Week Award, and voting is open now. 

This week’s nominees include softball, baseball, lacrosse and track and field athletes from across Ohio. 

According to MaxPreps, Spruell was nominated this week because she “struck out 20 of the 21 batters she faced, pitched a perfect game and hit a home run in an 8-0 win over Miami Trace. Also K’d 12 in a 5-0 over MT. Is 15-1 this season with a 0.70 ERA and 249 Ks.”
