Lady Indians tennis plays in the Wilmington Invitational

Saturday (Aug. 24), the Hillsboro Lady Indians tennis team played in Clinton County at the Wilmington Invitational.

For the Lady Indians in singles action, Jenna Hart in first singles was fifth place overall in the event.

Adalyn Gaines of HHS in second singles had a third-place finish, and the third singles standings saw Elizabeth Sowders place third overall. 

In first doubles, Ciara Woods and Allison Hendrix placed fourth overall. The second doubles standings saw Hillsboro’s Taylor-Ann Scruggs and Alyssa Taylor finish in seventh place.
