Lady Indians start season with 3rd straight win
The Hillsboro Lady Indians went on the road for the first time in the 2024 season and returned to Highland County with a three-set win over the host Fayetteville Rockets, improving to 3-0 overall.
In the non-conference game between Hillsboro (representing the Frontier Athletic Conference) and Fayetteville (representing the Southern Hills Athletic Conference) it was HHS winning in three straight sets by scores of 26-24, 25-15 and 25-19.
HHS in the win over Fayetteville saw Samantha Tipton lead the team with 14 kills, and she added two aces, two total blocks and two digs.
Ryan Wagoner finished with nine kills, one ace, six digs and she collected 13 service receptions.
Tylee Davis ended the match with six kills, four aces, 14 digs, one assist and five service receptions.
Camryn Spruell finished with six kills and one assist.
HHS also had Allie Roush with one kill, three digs, two assists and one service reception.
Addison Huff collected one kill, four digs and three digs.
Kyla Seeling totaled two aces four digs, 29 assists and one service reception. Jadi Howland had nine digs, one assist and 17 service receptions.
