Hillsboro volleyball ends season against Logan Elm

In the Division IV SE District Quarterfinals the Hillsboro Lady Indians saw their 2025 end on the road against the Logan Elm Lady Braves in three straight sets.
HHS, a No. 6 seed, lost in three sets to the No. 3 seeded Lady Braves by scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-8.
In the quarterfinal match, the Lady Indians totaled 33 kills, three aces, one block, 53 digs, and 33 assists. Logan Elm’s totals were 47 kills, seven aces, one block, 52 digs, and 46 assists. The win improved Logan Elm’s overall record to 18-5.
The 33 kills for Hillsboro saw Ryan Wagoner total 14, while Tylee Davis had 11. Emmalee Young collected six kills and with one kill each were Riley Pence and Kayla Seeling.
Hillsboro also had one ace each from Pence, Wagoner and Young. The Lady Indians collected one block from Pence.
In digs, Hillsboro had 13 from Allie Roush, Davis finished with 10, and Seeling had nine. Also with digs were Wagoner (eight), Josie Rhoades (eight), Marianne Mycroft (two), Pence (two) and Young (one).
The assists leader was Seeling with 29, followed with two from Davis, and one each by Pence and Wagoner.
Seniors for Hillsboro are Kayla Seeling and Allie Roush.
This season Hillsboro finishes with an overall record of 15-9, while they had a Frontier Athletic Conference record of 5-5 in ‘25.
