Hillsboro soccer sweeps Eastern
Traveling to Brown County to start the week on Monday, the Hillsboro boys and girls soccer teams each earned dominant non-conference victories on the soccer field at Eastern High School.
The HHS boys won over the host Warriors by a 7-2 score, while the girls soccer team defeated Eastern 6-2.
In the boys game, the Indians had three players score two goals each and they were Easton Inman, Ryan Howard and Wesley Bailey. Also with a goal for Hillsboro was Austin Bledsoe.
HHS had assists from Bailey with a team-best three assists in the win, while having one assist each were Kameron Evers, Howland, Inman and Judah Brandyberry.
The Hillsboro boys soccer team now stands at 8-5-0 overall and 3-3-0 in the FAC.
As for the Lady Indians, they had goals in the 6-2 win by Kobie Miles and Ella Jordan with two goals each, followed by one goal apiece from Ariana Evans and Kiara Boris.
The Lady Indians are now 7-6-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the FAC standings.
