Hillsboro Lady Indians Softball Camp for grades 3-8 to begin May 30

The Hillsboro Lady Indians Softball Camp will be held May 30 through June 1 from 10 a.m.-noon daily at the girls diamonds at Shaffer Park.

All girls entering grades three through eight are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to improve their softball skills. The focus of this camp will be to concentrate on the basic fundamentals of the game, practice good sportsmanship and develop a greater appreciation for the game of softball.

Campers are asked to bring water and softball equipment. The cost of the camp will be $35.

Provide the camper’s name, age, grade, shirt size, phone number and address, with checks made payable to the Hillsboro Athletic Department, on the first day of camp or by email to

Highlights will include offensive and defensive instruction; pitching; fun games; skills competitions; and meeting high school varsity players and staff.

Softball campers should expect a fun, safe and challenging three days of instruction by HHS Head Softball Coach Gary Breeden, HHS coaching staff and current and past players.
