Hillsboro Lady Indians basketball alumni make donation in memory of David Grover

On March 16, former Hillsboro basketball PA announcer and longtime Hillsboro High School athletics fan David Grover passed away. Members of the Hillsboro Lady Indians basketball alumni collected donations in honor of the memory of Mr. Grover for a donation to the girls basketball program. 

Tara Pendell, who organized the fundraiser for the alumni and who played during the time Grover was the PA announcer, confirmed alumni collected and donated $1,000 for the girls basketball program.

In his obituary, it states: “David was a fan of Hillsboro High School sports and was in attendance at almost every event.”
