Jobey Hattan collects 1,000th career dig in Fairfield loss to North Adams

The Fairfield Lady Lions lost in four sets to the host North Adams Lady Green Devils on Friday evening, but the positive from the match was Lady Lion senior Jobey Hattan collected her 1,000th career dig.

Hattan is a four-year starter for the Lady Lions, and in the match she totaled 17 digs, leading her to the career milestone.

As for the team, FHS won set three at 25-23. North Adams won by scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-10.

The Lady Lions totaled 25 kills on Friday, with Hattan leading with 10. Also with kills were Mackenzie Anderson (four), Remi Moon (four), McKinley Cox (three), Kelsey Clark (two) and Jaeden Drury (two).

The 28 assists for the Lady Lions were from Clark (18), Anderson (three), Alyssa Bales (one) and Moon (one). Fairfield also had two aces, with Clark and Cox each with one.

Other digs in the game for Fairfield included: Clark (16), Moon (15), Anderson (14), Bales (seven), Cox (three) and Jorja May (one).

Fairfield also garnered two blocks against North Adams, as Anderson and Drury each finished with one.

Fairfield’s SHAC loss was their first conference loss of the season, but they are still in first place in the SHAC Division II standings with a 6-1 record. Overall, FHS is 7-2.

North Adams is now 7-0 in the SHAC Division I standings with a 12-0 overall record.
