Walker guest speaker at Hillsboro Woman’s Club meeting; club donates to 3 area organizations

The Hillsboro Woman’s Club met Tuesday, Oct. 12 at the Ponderosa restaurant on South High Street.

The guest speaker was Jessica Walker, the food service director for Hillsboro City Schools. She gave an interesting talk about the Tomahawk food trucks and the summer meals program in the Hillsboro school district.

The club also voted to donate $100 each to the Hillsboro City Schools food truck program, Samaritan Outreach and Soles for Students.
