Villars to headline Saturday Night Special Oct. 31; PVJ set for Oct. 30

The historic Paxton Theatre features two great musical events this weekend: The Paint Valley Jamboree and The Saturday Night Special.

Tim Villars takes the stage of The Saturday Night Special, Saturday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m.

Villars will be joined onstage by featured performers: Rita Huston and Paint Valley Jamboree favorite Mike Woo, plus The Paxton Band with bandleader Jim Bristley (bass), Dan Cade (fiddle), Dean Inboden (lead guitar), Tom Kiley (steel), Aaron Morris (drums) and Dee Penn (piano).

SNS tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door.

Herb Day will be the headliner at the Nov. 7 Saturday Night Special.

The Paint Valley Jamboree, celebrating 51 years, welcomes Master of Ceremonies Kenny Baum as he leads an eclectic line-up of performers including: Todd Ash, Phyllis Ashworth, Bobby Blanton, Roger Conn, LeighAnne Cooper, Jerry Evans, Jim Evans, Jimmy Evans, Karen Gentry, Al Harper, Tim Lavender, Stan McFarland, Carol McIntosh, Rick Saunders, Rex Shuff and Mike Woo.

The Paint Valley Jamboree, presented by The Rockhold, Brown & Co. Bank, plays Friday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the door and online.

The Paxton Theatre is located at 133 E. Main St., Bainbridge.
