“I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the efforts of the Village of Lynchburg in the construction of the new bathroom at Old School Park,” Jones said. “Many people have assisted in the planning, construction and funding of this project that started in 2014, a result of the State of Ohio, Capital Improvement, House Bill 497 where we were awarded the grant to build these bathroom facilities. These needed improvements to our infrastructure have helped make Lynchburg a better place to live.

“I would like to thank The State of Ohio; Senator Bob Peterson; Representative Cliff Rosenberger; Highland County Commissioners’ Office including Shane Wilkin, Tom Horst, Jeremy Shaffer, Nicole Oberrecht; Village Council and special thanks to Vilvens Construction, Jeremy Shaffer, Katie Cook, Debbie Mount, Tami Pierre and all others who participated in making this effort and project a success.

“May these recent accomplishments inspire each of us to reach higher for the change and cooperation needed to position Lynchburg ready for the future.”
