The Christmas Home Tour, sponsored by the U.S. Grant Homestead Association, will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2 from noon-5 p.m. in Georgetown.

The tour begins at the U.S. Grant Boyhood Home, 219 East Grant Avenue where you can buy tickets, pick up a brochure, and enjoy the early American Christmas decorations. Tickets are $10 and are also available at Donohoo’s Pharmacy on the west side of the Courthouse Square or by phone at 937-378-3087. All ticket purchasers will be entered in the drawing for a special John Ruthven-Thompson House Basket with a retail value of over $125. You do not have to be present to win.

This year's tour includes the 1826 home of Col. David Ammen at 115 South Apple Street, Sue McKinley's 1929 home at 503 South Main Street, Val and Sara Lewis' new home at 403 Free Soil Road as well as Ken Klosterman's meticulously restored John Thompson Home at 8061 S.R. 221 and the 1843 Tunnel Mill with Ken's outstanding collection of vintage magic memorabilia.

Also featured on the tour will be Mac and Hannah Kelly's restored and completely remodeled home at 205 North Pleasant Street.
