UC Clermont College to host 2015-16 Poetry Series

UC Clermont College will host a Poetry Reading Series featuring four poets who will spend time talking about their creative process, answering questions about the writing life and will be engaging in some writing exercises with the audience in the “Craft Talk Session.” Each of the events will follow with a reading, book signing and reception.
 
The series is sponsored by the English, Languages and Fine Arts Department, with assistance from Associate Dean of Academics. It is free and open to the community.

The schedule is as follows:

Sept. 11: Joel Peckham - “God’s Bicycle;”
Craft Talk: 10:10–11 a.m., Student Services 235;
Reading and Book Signing: 1:25–2:20 p.m., Clermont College Library;
Reception to follow.
 
Oct. 21: Christopher DeWeese –“The Father of the Arrow Is the Thought;”
Craft Talk: 10:10–11 a.m., Student Services 235;
Reading and Book Signing: 1:25–2:20 p.m., Park National Bank Art Gallery;
Reception to follow.
 
March 16: Jordan Zandi – “Solarium;”
Craft Talk: 12:20–1:15 p.m., TBD;
Reading and Book Signing: 1:25–2:20 p.m., Park National Bank Art Gallery;
Reception to follow.
 
April 6: National Poetry Month Guest Poet Adam Day – “Model of a City in Civil War;”
Craft Talk: 12:20–1:15 p.m., TBD;
Reading and Book Signing: 1:25–2:20 p.m., Clermont College Library;
Reception to follow.
