Twigs & Twine Craft Shop announces three-day crafting retreat at Ross County Fairgrounds

CHILLICOTHE — Twigs & Twine Craft Shop invites area crafters to enjoy three days of creativity, friendship, and relaxation during its Fall Into Creativity Crafting Retreat, Sept. 11-13 at the Ross County Fairgrounds.

The retreat will be held in the JVS Building, located at 344 Fairgrounds Road in Chillicothe. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Friday, and the retreat will continue through 6:00 p.m. Sunday.

Participants are invited to bring their own scrapbooking, cardmaking, journaling, or other paper-crafting projects and enjoy an entire weekend of uninterrupted creative time. The retreat will also include daily door prizes, a make-and-take project, and a grand prize drawing on Sunday.

September is Adolescent Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition of the month, Twigs & Twine Craft Shop will donate 10% of all registration fees to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital if the retreat sells out.

Jamie Elliott will speak on Saturday about her daughter’s experience with adolescent cancer and the important role St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital played in her family’s journey.

This retreat is an opportunity for crafters to step away from their busy routines, work on the projects they love, and spend time with others who share their creativity. It is especially meaningful that the weekend can also help raise awareness and support the lifesaving work of St. Jude.

Registration is $130 per person and includes all three days of the retreat. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
