'The true spirit of 4-H'

Best friends Lucas Pollard and Jude Michael share a handshake after Sunday's Swine Showmanship at the Highland County Fair.

This is the first year in 4-H for both participants, and they placed first and second, respectively.

This picture represents the true spirit of 4-H: supporting peers and sharing in one another's accomplishments. The 4-H “heart to greater loyalty" pledge teaches youth to be reliable and loyal in their heart while building positive relationships with others.
