Treasurer Mandel honors Highland County Extension

The Ohio State University Extension office of Highland County was presented a proclamation Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Highland County Fair by Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel’s office.

The proclamation reads: "It is with great pleasure that I, Josh Mandel, treasurer of Ohio, extend my congratulations to The Ohio State University Extension of Highland County in honor of its 100th anniversary.


"The Ohio State University Extension has been a valuable resource to the community. For the past century, OSUE has positively impacted Highland County by providing educational programming and applying practical research to meet the needs of the area. This anniversary presents an opportunity to reflect on accomplishments and look forward to a promising future.

"It is important that these contributions be recognized and honored. Therefore, I commend you, The Ohio State University Extension of Highland County, on your contributions to the State of Ohio, and wish you many years of continued success and community involvement. Josh Mandel, state treasurer of Ohio."
