The Shireys gospel group to present concert at Magic Waters Summer Theatre

For more than 30 years, Magic Waters Summer Theatre has been providing folks with family entertainment in the form of comedies, drama, etc. on stage at their rustic amphitheater on Cave Road, near Bainbridge.
On June 13, they are offering a different kind of family entertainment – indeed, presented by a family. The Shireys are an acclaimed touring group who will inspire all in attendance with their varied forms of gospel music, from the classic camp meeting style to today’s more progressive style.
Much of their music is original with the entire family having a hand in the writing. Their music is their ministry, and it is the intent of the Shireys (and of the Magic Waters folks) to usher each listener into the presence of God, and where better to do that than on the beautiful hillside at Magic Waters?
Tickets for the concert are priced at: adults, $8; children, $4; and senior citizens (65 and older) $5. Group rates start at 20 persons and the group needs to call ahead for reservations and one person must pay for the entire group. Call (937)302-0818 to learn more about the group discount.
Individuals and families who call that number to make reservations will also get preferred seating. However, many folks prefer hillside seating and there is plenty of that available, too. (Just bring your own chairs or blankets.)
The concert will begin at 7 p.m., and of course, as guests are being seated, they'll be entertained as usual by Boonie the Magician. (It wouldn’t be Magic Waters without Boonie!)
Magic Waters is located off U.S. Route 50 midway between Hillsboro and Chillicothe on Cave Road. Magic Waters is an outdoor facility, so better bring a sweater or light jacket, as the breeze from the woods can get chilly even on very warm days.
