Senior Center to host 2nd annual ‘Cookies with Characters’

Highland County Senior Citizens Center’s second annual Cookies with Characters fundraising event is Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you like superheroes, princesses and Disney-like characters, you’ll love this event.

Decorate cookies, make crafts, play games and more with all your favorite characters. Admission is $5 for all, except those who are 23 months and younger are $3.

Admission includes lunch and activities. The kids menu is chicken nuggets, fries, apple slices and a drink. Adults may enjoy a sloppy joe, fries and a drink.

Advance tickets are on sale now at the senior center Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and at-door tickets will be available while supplies last.
