Senior Center announces upcoming events

Ham Bingo at the Highland County Senior Citizens Center will be Saturday, March 21.
Lunch is available for purchase from noon-1 p.m., with the game from 1-4 p.m. Games are 25 cents per card, per game. Must be 18 or older to play. Hams and pies are the prizes. Call 393-4745 for details.
• Pancake Extravaganza with the Easter Bunny and Friends fundraiser at the Highland County Senior Citizens Center is Saturday, March 28 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Giant indoor egg hunt, color eggs, games, meet various popular children’s characters, door prizes for children and adults, (1) 4X6 picture with Easter Bunny included.
Children and adults: $5, children under 2 years of age: $3. For details, call 393-4745. Tickets on sale now.
The community is invited. Over 12 different toppings/flavors of pancakes such as strawberries, blueberries, cinnamon and more will be provided along with scrambled eggs, sausage and a beverage. The breakfast menu also features a yummy red-velvet pancake.
Activities included are a giant indoor Easter egg hunt, coloring Easter eggs and games. Guests may also dance the Bunny Hop and Chicken Dance with the Easter Bunny and friends. Children may also take home a piece of chocolate shaped into their name. A (1) 4X6 picture with the Easter Bunny, breakfast and all activities are included in the event’s admission price.
Door prizes & raffle items are also available. Guests may separately purchase raffle tickets for an 18 gallon storage container filled with various household items, including an oven-safe glass cookware with lid. Raffle tickets may also be purchased for a Big Hugs Elmo doll. All adults get a door prize ticket with purchase of admission. All proceeds go to support the senior center, a non-profit organization.
