Samaritan Outreach Services is happy to announce their upcoming fundraiser gala, A Motown Memory. The Motor City-themed event will take place Saturday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Samaritan Outreach Uptown Community Room at 110 S. High Street, Hillsboro.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour and live music from local acoustic guitarist Cole Peyton.

At 7 p.m., a delicious dinner from All Seasons Catering will be served, with your choice of roast pork loin or garlic parmesan crusted chicken breast served with buttered parsley red skin potatoes, green beans, mixed greens salad and your choice of dessert.
Live Motown music from Dayton’s Live Your Dreams band will follow at 8 p.m..
The evening will also include door prizes, a photo booth, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
Join Samaritan Outreach for this rare local opportunity to wear that favorite tie or dress, enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the evening on the dance floor. Semi-formal attire is strongly suggested.

Samaritan, formed in 1989 by the Rev. John and Jean Carson, operates as a charity food pantry in the Highland County area funded primarily by community grants and private donations. Eligibility for services falls within the guidelines of federal income levels.
