Roehm sisters fare well at All-American Junior Show

The Roehm sisters of Hillsboro, all of whom are all students of Fairfield Local Schools, had an excellent trip to the All-American Junior Sheep Show, placing with top honors in the wool lead line competition.

• Evelyn Roehm won first place in the junior division of the wool lead line. Evelyn’s artwork promoting her original farm logo design also won first place.

• Eloise Roehm took first place in the 8-10-year-old beginner division of the wool lead line show.

• Emelia Roehm earned honorable mention in the junior division of the wool lead line show.

Outfits were hand-crafted by their grandmother, Sue Roehm. Sheep exhibited were owned by each girl individually.

This event was held in Springfield, Ill. this year. The AAJS hosted over 692 exhibitors from over 30 states with over 3,064 head of sheep going through the show ring.
