Rocket Run Car Show June 15 in Fayetteville

The annual Rocket Run Car Show will be held Sunday, June 15 at Fayetteville High School, 601 Apple Street, Fayetteville.  

Registration will be from 10 a.m.-noon. Entry fee is $20 for judged cars and $12 for non-judged cars.  Awards will be presented at 3 p.m.  

Trophy categories include Best of Show, Best GM, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best 4WD, Best Truck, Best Project, Best Late Model, Scouts’ Pick, Spanky’s Pick (in memory of Tommy Green), FOE 2222 Pick, and Top 20 Vehicles.  

New this year will be the Sixty-Eight Cruizers Jim Hupp Memorial Pick. Music will be provided by Chazizz DJ Services. There will be dash plaques and chances for door prizes for all that enter a vehicle. This year’s dash plaque will feature David Vogel’s 1969 Chevy Nova Super Sport.  

There will be a Silent Auction and a 50/50 drawing. All proceeds will benefit Fayetteville Scout Troop 456. Food will be available for purchase from the Fayetteville Touch Down Club.
