Day trip to La Comedia
Join us on Thursday, Sept. 16 for a trip to Springboro’s famous La Comedia Dinner Theatre and a matinee performance of the hilarious comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.”
Our seats are the best in the house, floor level, center section, and La Comedia’s buffet is the finest in the area. The cost is $60 per person, and includes transportation, lunch and taxes. Your luxurious motorcoach will leave the Center at 9:30 a.m. Stop by the center or call 393-4745 to make your reservation.
Take me out to the ballgame
We still have a few tickets available for Cincinnati Reds v. Pirates, Tuesday, May 25. Board a deluxe motorcoach for the Great American Ball Park. We will leave the Center at 3:30 p.m.; game time is 7:10 p.m. We will stop for dinner at Golden Corral (on your own) on the way down. Arrive back at the Center at approximately 11 p.m. Tickets are $47. Our seats are on the Infield Box Level, 1st base side. Call 393-4745 to reserve your seat.

Food Festival May 14
Please join us at the Senior Center on Friday, May 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. when we will present a Food Festival hosted by Ellenbee Leggett. The center will be closed for regular activities, and the entire main dining room will be transformed into a “convention center” for this special event. Admission is $3 and entitles you to feast on all kinds of delicious dishes from a variety of food companies. There will be everything from appetizers to desserts and of course beverages.
In addition, you will have an opportunity to vote for your favorite items for possible inclusion into our daily menus. This event is open to the public. Come early, and come hungry!

Day Celebration
Once again, the Highland County Senior Center is partnering with Clear Channel Buckeye Country to put on the biggest and best Senior Expo ever, to coincide with Ohio Senior Citizens Day, on May 18, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be exhibitors showcasing services and products targeted to older adults, free health screenings, informational presentations, door prizes and lots of “freebies.”
Highlights will include a style show with seniors modeling the latest spring fashions from Peebles Department Store, a performance by the Silver Liners Line Dancers, and naming of the 2010 Outstanding Highland County Senior Citizen. The Expo will be broadcast live and it promises to be a really exciting day – don’t miss this free event.[[In-content Ad]]
