Record-breaking crowd attends Highland County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting & Dinner
A record-breaking crowd of over 250 people gathered on May 9 for the Highland County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting and Dinner. The Highland County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual meeting and dinner on Thursday, May 9, at The Orpheum located in uptown Hillsboro. Over 250 guests attended the sold-out event “Our Bet Is On You” and enjoyed an evening of networking within the Highland County business community.
Dinner was provided by Jill’s Farmhouse Catering, All Seasons Catering, Shoelaces Catering, Maplecrest Meats & More and Batter Up Bakery.
Highlights of the evening included comments made by Chamber Board of Directors Chairman Diana Setty, a financial report by Board Treasurer Seth Phillips and Chamber update given by Executive Director Jamie Wheeler.

Throughout the evening guests competed in a variety of contests to earn prizes for themselves or their staff. Additionally attendees raised over $1,000 that will be donated to local charities in the coming months.
Over 40 different local businesses donated items for gift baskets that were raffled off at the conclusion of the evening.
