I am writing to you in hopes of verifying the identities and addresses of three young Mennonite men who live at 6851 Fair Ridge Road, Hillsboro, Ohio. They are seeking assistance in obtaining passports.
They are:
• Santiago Berking Richardson, 25, (date of birth May 23,1997);
• Andaya Berking Richardson, 24, (date of birth Sept. 1, 1998); and
• Bilando Berking Richardson, 20, (date of birth Aug. 26, 2002).
I am familiar with the family and have been for years, as we live just a few miles apart.
They are in need of passports in order to travel to the Philippines to visit with family members. As Mennonites, they do not have driver's licenses or Social Security numbers. They basically live a hard-working lifestyle on the family farm with very little government involvement.
As the publisher of a local newspaper that serves the Richardson family and the Mennonite community in Highland County, Ohio, I am simply trying to offer some assistance in verifying their identities and residence. Today, I took photos of the three young men and am attaching these photos. If there is anything else that I can do to assist the family, please advise.
