Premier Showmen Cloverbuds tie-dye T-shirts at Aug. 14 meeting

The Premier Showmen 4-H Club held a meeting Sunday, Aug. 14 at the home of Brayden and Christian Cummings. The meeting was called to order by the president, Wyatt Osborn, at 6 p.m.
At the beginning of the meeting, members participated in a leadership game, the human knot, led by Dawson Osborn. In order to play this game, the club members split into two groups and each team formed a circle.
Then, each team member had to grab hold of the hand of two people across from them. Once everyone in the circle had another person’s hands, they had to untie themselves without letting go.
After the officer reports, eight members gave their demonstrations. Luke Dhume gave his demonstration on how fry to eggs and bacon on a George Foreman grill. Next, Mason Gragg gave his presentation on how to mix hog feed.
Then, Grant and Graden Johnson and Noah White gave their demonstration on how to perform the disappearing egg trick. Following that, Abigail Marsh showed the club what to have in a sports bag.
Then, Bentley Marsh demonstrated how to throw a curve ball. Finally, Landry Teeters gave her demonstration on how to properly shoot a basketball.
Following demonstrations, new business, old business and species work were completed. During this time, the Cloverbuds tie-dyed T-shirts to wear at the fair.
Before the meeting adjourned, the members went over the rules and schedule for the 2022 Highland County Fair.
