Premier Showmen 4-H Club has leadership challenge, plays Wiffle ball

Premier Showmen 4-H Club
The Premier Showmen 4-H Club held their sixth meeting of the year on Sunday, May 1 at the 4-H food booth. The meeting was called to order by the President, Wyatt Osborn, at 6 p.m.
At the beginning of the meeting, members participated in a leadership game called the hula hoop challenge. In order to play this game, the club members formed a circle and held hands. Then, a hula hoop was placed between two members. The point of the challenge is the move the hula hoop around the circle without unlatching hands. When the game was over, Secretary, Avery Teeters did roll call.
After the officer reports four members gave their demonstrations. Shannon Combs gave his demonstration on useful knots. Next, Mercy Combs gave her demonstration on how to make trail mix. Then, Colton Heckathorn gave a presentation on how to tie knots. Finally, Gavin Puckett showed the club how to draw medicine from a bottle.
For the Cloverbud activity, the Cloverbuds learned about plants and planted flower seeds for their mothers for Mother’s Day.
The motion to adjourn was made by Shannon Combs and seconded by Braydon Cummings.
After the meeting was adjourned, the members participated in recreation for the first time in the 2022 4-H year. Recreation Officer, Blake Osborn, led the club in a game of Wiffle ball. The team captains were Blake Osborn and Matthias Hostetler.
The Premier Showmen 4-H club will meet again on May 15 at 6 p.m.
