Premier Showmen 4-H Club elects officers

Premier Showmen 4-H Club
The Premier Showmen 4-H Club held their third meeting of the year on Sunday, Feb. 27 at the 4-H food booth. The meeting was called to order by the president, Abby Dhume, at 6 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Wyatt Osborn and the 4-H pledge was led by Shannon Combs.
At the beginning of the members participated in a leadership game. Club members found a partner of a similar size and sat down on the floor, back to back with arms locked. The object of the game was to be the first team to stand up without unlocking arms. After the game, Dhume did roll call. Each member stated their name and favorite color.
During new business, officers elections were held. The 2022 Premier Showmen officers are as follows: President, Wyatt Osborn; Vice President, Sydney Sanders; Secretary, Avery Teeters; Treasurer, Carly Sanders; News Reporter, Shannon Combs; Recreation officer, Blake Osborn; Health officer, Landry Teeters; Safety officer, Mercy Combs; Club Historian, Connor Case; Community officer, Mason Warnock; American Flag Barrier, Micah Combs; 4-H Flag Barrier, Addie Johnson. Following officer elections, club members worked on species work. During this time, the cloverbuds were dismissed for their activity, which was coloring 4-H clovers for 4-H Week which is March 6-12.
The Premier Showmen 4-H Club will meet again on March 13 at 6 p.m.
