The Premier Showmen 4-H Club recently conducted a successful fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse locations in Chillicothe and Milford to support the purchase of Skillathon kits, which are used to help members prepare for competitions and expand their agricultural knowledge.
Club members played an important role in making the event run smoothly. They assisted by seating guests, opening doors, welcoming customers, and coordinating a bake sale that featured a variety of homemade goods. Members worked in shifts throughout the event, demonstrating responsibility and dedication while ensuring that all guests had a positive experience.
In addition to raising funds, the fundraiser gave members valuable opportunities to interact with the public and represent their club in a professional and friendly manner. These experiences helped build confidence, improve communication skills, and strengthen relationships within the community.
The bake sale portion of the event was especially popular, with many customers showing their support by purchasing treats and learning more about the club’s goals. Community members expressed appreciation for the students’ hard work and enthusiasm.
Overall, the fundraiser was a success, generating needed funds while also fostering teamwork, leadership, and community involvement among participants. Events like this continue to play an important role in helping the Premier Showmen 4-H Club grow and succeed while making a positive impact in the local community.
