The Precious Pearls Red Hatters recently visited Field of Dreams in New Vienna for a "Paint-in-Party."
Letty Allen was the instructor and taught some techniques of brush strokes and supplied canvas, paint and the uses of brushes.
Some were skeptical and stated they were not artists. But everyone was so pleased with their own artwork. Check out the Field of Dreams shop on Mad River Road and discover your hidden talent of art.

• The Precious Pearls are planning a Red Hat Annual Spring Fling Event on May 25 at the Highland County Senior Citizens Center on Muntz Street in Hillsboro.
Doors are open at 10 a.m. and there will be RedHat ladies from Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and other states. There will be dinner served at tables, shopping with Jolene's Fashion from New Mexico and other local venders. Entertainment will be by the Red Hat members, with music by Wires and Wood.
