Plans under way for Magic Waters 2010
Here is a teaser for next Summer’s Magic Waters Theatre schedule: Tony Copper, long-time Magic Waters Theatre family member, who now lives in Xenia as written a delightful season of family entertainment for the rustic amphitheater on Cave Road near Bainbridge.
Having been away from Magic Waters for a few seasons, seeking his fortune in the big city of Dayton, Tony returned last summer for a small part in the “Odd Couple-Female Version”, and he realized how much fun he had been missing out on! A call to Janny Brizius who is co-producer along with her husband, Boonie, unveiled an entire season of plays which he had written for 2010.
The following is a rough idea of how things will go for the season. Probably opening with one of Tony’s famousMurderMysteries, this one is to be entitled “Sherlock Holmes’ American Cousin in the Mystery of the Walking Corpse”, they will probably then present “Hansel & Gretel”, but this version will not be for the kiddies only, as in Tony’s Hansel and Gretel, the main characters are teenage ghost busters --Intended to be great fun for folks of all ages!
Tony’s part of the season will conclude with ‘Hamlet,”with Shakespeare’s original language, but set in modern day time, much the same as the “Romeo & Juliet” adaptation that he wrote a few years ago for the theatre which was so very well received.
