Pickup dates, times announced for National Operation Christmas Child Collection Week

Operation Christmas Child, under the umbrella of Samaritan’s Purse (a Franklin Graham ministry), will be collecting filled shoeboxes next week.

The central drop-off location for the counties of Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette and Highland is located at the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church at 133 East Walnut Street, Hillsboro. The hours are:

• Monday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.;

• Tuesday, Nov. 13, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.;

• Wednesday, Nov. 14, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.;

• Thursday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.;

• Friday, Nov. 16, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.;

• Saturday, Nov. 17, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.;

• Sunday, Nov. 18, noon-4 p.m.; and

• Monday, Nov. 19, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
