The Paxton Theatre proudly presents Disney “Beauty & the Beast Jr.,” with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and book by Linda Woolverton, playing at The Paxton Theatre in Bainbridge on July 29 and 30 at 7 p.m. and on July 31 at 3 p.m.
The classic story tells of Belle (played by Jaeden Thatcher), a beautiful young bookworm in a provincial town, and the Beast (Nick Winland), who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
The cast also includes: Lydia Couser, Logan Savage, Sarah Wuellner and Halle Wisecup (The Narrators), Keanna Simmons (Maurice), Aidan Holmes (Gaston), Nick Turner (Lefou), Mackenzie Mash, Maddy Davis and Livia Wisecup (The Silly Girls), Kara Russell (Lumiere), Hannah Kessinger (Cogsworth), Clara White (Mrs. Potts), Emma Horick (Babette/Enchantress), Maddie Ayers (Madame De La Grande Bouche), Ezra White (Chip), Grace Wisecup (Monsieur D'Argue) and Micah White (Bookseller).
