Pat Winkle receives Friend of 4-H Award

Friend of 4-H award recipient Pat Winkle has been actively involved with fair activities since 1978, which was the same time her children began showing dairy cattle at the fair.

She hosted many 4-H meetings throughout the years while her children were involved with projects at the fair.

For the last several years, she has been the behind the scenes person with the Highland County Sales Committee. While she may not be seen often at the fair, she spends many months a year helping to make the Highland County Fair run smoothly for the youth of Highland County.

She currently is actively involved as the consultant with the Sale Committee and handles all sales that take place at the fair. She volunteers countless hours so that the youth will have a positive experience when selling their projects. She truly supports the youth of Highland County.
