Paint Valley Jamboree plans 2 weekend concerts

Two great shows, and one incredible offer, come from the historic Paxton Theatre this weekend when they present the Paint Valley Jamboree, with headliner Doug Jones, on Friday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. and Aron Jones & The Kool Kats on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
Guests who purchase tickets to see Doug Jones at the PVJ will receive complimentary tickets to see Aron Jones & The Kool Kats, a $15 value. To receive complimentary tickets to Aron Jones & The Kool Kats, guest must purchase tickets for the Paint Valley Jamboree with Doug Jones. Complimentary tickets for Aron Jones must be picked up via the box office at the PVJ on Sept. 16. One complimentary ticket is offered per each ticket purchased.

Jones will be joined onstage by featured performers: Paul Blankenship, Herb Day, Carol McIntosh and Stephanie Stanley; plus the PVJ Band with bandleader Jim Bristley (bass), Dan Cade (fiddle), Dave Hutchinson (drums), Dean Inboden (lead guitar), Dee Penn (keyboard) and emcee Mike Hutchinson.
The Paint Valley Jamboree is presented by The Rockhold, Brown & Co. Bank.
Tickets are $15 at the door and $12 in advance.
Aron Jones & The Kool Kats is a ’50s Elvis Rock-n-Roll tribute band whose one goal is to show new fans and remind older fans what Elvis and his shows were like in the 1950s when he was released on an unsuspecting nation: loud, raw and different than anything before or since.
Tickets are also $15 at the door and $12 in advance.
