Ohio's Hospice 35th annual Hike for Hospice returns April 12

WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE — Ohio's Hospice will host its 35th Annual Hike for Hospice Remembrance Walk on Saturday, April 12 at Grace Community Church, 525 Glenn Ave., Washington Court House. The walk will begin at 10 a.m. with registration opening at 8:30 a.m.

Community members are invited to walk in memory or honor of a loved one during this special event that has become a cherished tradition in the community. The family-friendly gathering will feature activities for all ages including a live DJ, food trucks and commemorative photo opportunities.

"We are looking forward to hosting the 35th Annual Hike for Hospice," said Candis Conley of Ohio's Hospice Foundation. "This event not only raises crucial funds for our patient care and services but also provides our community with a meaningful way to remember and celebrate the lives of their loved ones. We are grateful for our community support and sponsors and look forward to gathering together in celebration of our mission."

Participants can form teams or walk individually along the scenic route that winds through the grounds of Grace Community Church. The route is approximately one mile long and is accessible for all fitness levels and abilities.

Registration is $15 per individual walker and memorial signs are available for $6. Memorial signs will be displayed along the walk route on the day of the event and can be taken home afterward as a keepsake. Net proceeds benefit patient care and services at Ohio's Hospice, helping to provide compassionate care to patients and families throughout the community.
