New Hope Baptist Church to celebrate 170th anniversary Aug. 25

New Hope Baptist Church will be celebrating their 170th church anniversary Sunday, Aug. 25 with a service beginning at 11 a.m.

The church is located at 128 East Beech St., Hillsboro.

Rev. Dr. Arthur Combest Sr. from Travelers Rest Baptist Church in Columbus will be the guest speaker.

Pastor Tyrone Lawes and the New Hope congregation welcome everyone to attend the celebration.
